Chris Haslam (Skateboarder)

Chris Haslam ( born December 19, 1980) is a Canadian skateboarders and bass player who now lives in Richmond.

Biography

Haslam has to skate at the age of 13 years began while he was living in Singapore with his parents.

He is widely known for its revolutionary skating and its extensive variety of innovative tricks and is often associated with Daewon Song or Rodney Mullen.

Haslam gained attention and popularity since the Almost: Round Three video. Chris won the seventh annual Transworld Skateboarding Awards in 2005. In August 2006, he was winner of the Vs 411VM competition. This was a competition where some skaters were chosen by the public and some tricks paraded. The winner of each single run came in the next round. In 2006, Chris Haslam and Daewon Song were shown in the Almost Skateboards video Cheese and Crackers, a video that showed the two when skating together in a mini ramp. His current sponsors are Almost Skateboards, Independent Trucks, Bones Wheels, Dakine and Globe Shoes.

In April 2007, Haslam had a part in momentum debut video Un Momentum ( por favor ). He was also the star of the mini videos United By Fate Part 2 by Globe Shoes and is a playable character in EA 's skateboarding video games Skate, Skate 2 and Skate 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
