Chris Terkelsen

Chris Risbjerg Terkelsen ( born February 16, 1972) is a former Danish orienteer.

After good finishes and winning a silver medal at the long distance at the Junior World Championships in Berlin in 1991 and 1992 in Jyväskylä Terkelsen was nominated for the Danish national team. In 1993 he took part in West Point in his first World Cup and was inter alia tenth in the sprint. The most successful period had Terklsen 1997 and 1998. Grimstad, Norway In 1997 he was together with Torben Skovlyst, Carsten Jørgensen and Allan Mogensen in the Danish season champion. In 1998 he won the World Cup after individual victories in the Lake District in Krakow and in the Estonian Otepaeae. A third victory came in 2000. After these successes he started only in 2003 again at international championships.
