Allan Mogensen

Allan Mogensen ( born November 2, 1967) is a former Danish orienteer. In 1993 he was long distance world champion and 1997 world champion with the Danish squadron.

Mogensen won the 1990 Nordic Championship on the classic long distance. He was second on each of the long and middle distance in 1992, he also won the O-rings. At the World Championships in 1993 in the U.S. West Point Mogensen won the title on the long distance. 1997 won the season Torben Skovlyst, Chris Terkelsen, Allan Mogensen Carsten Jørgensen and Denmark both for the title at the Nordic Championships and the World Championships. While he was not able at individual decisions at the World Championships to his success in 1993, he had in 2000 still a good season. The first European Championship since the 60s, he finished fourth in the sprint. In the World Cup he came to two competitions won behind Jani Lakanen from Finland and the Norwegian Tore Sandvik in third place.
