Christian Baldauf

Christian Baldauf ( born August 9, 1967 in Frankenthal ) is a German politician of the CDU and former opposition leader in Rhineland- Palatinate. He is married and has two children. Since November 2006, Baldauf is a member of the CDU Federal Board.

Life and career

After his graduation Baldauf studied Law and Administrative Sciences in Mannheim and Heidelberg and put 1991 his first state examination in 1994 his second state examination. 1993/94 he was a research associate of Maria Böhmer ( MP ). In 1995 he joined a law firm in Frankenthal and has been a lawyer and specialist in employment law.

1983 Baldauf was a member of the CDU and 1992-96 was chairman of the Junge Union of the District Association Frankenthal. In 1994 he was elected to the city council of Frankenthal.
