Christian Brembeck

Christian Brembeck (* 1960 in Munich) is a German organist, harpsichordist, pianist and conductor.

Biography

Christian Brembeck studied organ with Franz Lehrndorfer at the Musikhochschule in Munich as well as Petr Eben and Nicholas Danby, after he began self-taught and in 1981 gained the victory in the organ competition Würzburg, also piano with Gitti Pirner. He graduated from the A-exam in church music and a master class diploma in Lehrndorfer.

Since then Brembeck is as a soloist and chamber musician in concert halls and churches in Europe, in South America and the Far East as well as at numerous festivals. From 1986 to 1996 he was regularly under Sergiu Celibidache with the Munich Philharmonic as a guest.

Since 1987 he has collaborated repeatedly with the Tölz Boys' Choir and has numerous guest appearances denied this. In 1992 he founded " Parthenia Vocal & Baroque", an original sound ensemble, dedicated to historical performance practice.
