Christian Kubusch

Christian Kubusch ( born April 26, 1988 in Gera ) is a German swimmer.

Christian Kubusch takes for the SC Magdeburg, before he went for the SV Gera at the start. In the German Swimming Championships in Berlin in 2008, he won the title on 800 and 1500 m freestyle. Kubusch had qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but could not reach the final in the 400m and 1500m freestyle still in the 200m relay competition there. In the European Swimming Championships 2010 in Budapest Kubusch won behind the Frenchman Sébastien Rouault about 800 m freestyle silver medal. He improved while the held his own German record 7:49,12.

Currently Kubusch is a member of the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr. He studied International Management at the University of Magdeburg.
