Christian Reimann

Christian Reimann ( born November 28, 1979 in Stadtroda ) is a German football player.

Career

Reimann began his career in the youth at SV Green White Stadtroda and joined afterwards SV Schott Jena. In 2000 he returned to the White Stadtroda SV green where he played until 2002 and then joined VfB Pössneck. After two years with Pössneck he joined in the summer of 2004, the Oberliga VFC Plauen on. Reimann came in his two and a half years in Plauen to 66 matches and scored 47 goals. In January 2007, he left the VFC Plauen and joined the league rivals FC Sachsen Leipzig. During his time in Leipzig Reimann scored 20 goals in 29 games. This ratio brought him a contract with 1.FC Magdeburg. In Magedeburg he came on the opening day of the 2008/09 season to debut and played from the start against the reserve of Hannover 96 until 15 Matchday he scored his first goal against Türkiyemspor Berlin. Overall, he came in 26 games on two goals for Magdeburg and was taken in 2009 by the newly founded RB Leipzig under contract. He played in the 2009/2010 season in 30 games for RB Leipzig in the Oberliga NOFV -south. On 7 July 2010, he joined together with Alexander Moritz from RB Leipzig Thuringian third -division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena. Reimann was 24 July 2010 his debut in professional football for FC Carl Zeiss Jena against 1.FC Heidenheim. In July 2011, Reimann was suspended and has since been one only of the squad, the reserve from FC Carl Zeiss Jena. His contract was terminated August 29, 2011.
