Christian Schulte

Christian Schulte ( born August 17, 1975 in Neuss ) is a German hockey goalie. He was from 1996 to 2009 a member of the A- squad of the national team. During this time he completed more than 120 international matches.

With the German national hockey team, he became world and European champions in Hall and field. In 2004 he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Athens. 2006, he reached with the national team to second place at the Champions Trophy in Mönchengladbach and was world champion. The title defense was previously yet no nation has succeeded. Also in 2006 he was German field hockey champion with the Crefelder HTC. In this championship, he was elected second time after 2003 "Best Goalkeeper " of field hockey finals. On 11 February 2007, he added, with the Crefelder HTC, whose honor he is a member, his track record, add the title of German Champion Hall, 2007. In the final, scored a historic success: As the only goalie with a German Indoor Championship he remained without conceding a goal.

At the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 Christian Schulte was reported as P- Accredited Deutsche - Men hockey team and once again part of the Olympic team in Germany.
