Christiane Nielsen

Christiane Nielsen ( born September 10, 1936 in Würzburg, † April 8, 2007 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German actress.

The native Christiane Maria Kraaz, daughter of a teacher, was first dental assistant. After acting lessons, she played the mid-1950s in Munich in the theater under the arches. Since 1957 she has participated in numerous films of the German cinemas. Mostly it was only the role of an attractive sidekicks, however. In the Edgar Wallace film The Secret of the Red Orchid is as Cora Minelli the wife of a gangster leader, the last gets revenge on his rivals.

After two failed marriages married Christiane Nielsen 1963 Algerians Miloud Ganga. She lived from then on with him in North Africa and was mother of their daughters Alia (born 1964 ) and Myriam ( b. 1965 ). Even before the divorce in 1969 she returned to Germany, but was unable to repeat her film career.
