Christianity in Kuwait

The number of Christians in Kuwait is about 300,000.

Freedom of religion is only mentioned in the Constitution. There are also some Christian denominations recognized. However, there are very few Christians who possess the nationality of Kuwait.

Confessions

The National Evangelical Church in Kuwait counts about 40,000 members in more than 70 communities.

The Coptic Orthodox Church has about 60,000 members, the Armenian Orthodox Church about 4000 and the Greek Orthodox Church about 3500.

The Seventh- day Adventists are present in Kuwait.

Officially recognized are the National Evangelical Church, the Anglican Church, the Coptic Orthodox, the Greek Orthodox and the Armenian Orthodox Church.

Catholicism
