Christina Giazitzidou

Christina Giazitzidou (Greek Χριστίνα Γιαζιτζίδου, ​​born October 12, 1989 in Kastoria ) is a Greek lightweight rower. She won in the lightweight double sculls 2009-2011 three U23 World Champion title with Triantafyllia Kalampoka and two World Championship titles and three European titles with Alexandra Tsiavou.

Their first international medal winning Giazitzidou at the 2007 World Junior Championships when she reached the third place with the quadruple sculls. In 2008 she received along with Triantafyllia Kalampoka the silver medal in the lightweight double sculls at the U23 World Regatta. At the 2008 European Championships in Athens won the lightweight double sculls Chrysi Biskitzi and Alexandra Tsiavou; Kalampoka and Giazitzidou representing the host nation in the weight- independent double sculls and finished fourth.

Reached in 2009 Kalampoka and Giazitzidou in two World Cup races in the finals lightweight double sculls and the two were victorious in the U23 World Championships. For the major championships Christina Giazitzidou and Alexandra Tsiavou sat in the lightweight double sculls, the two won the World Championships in Poznan and the European Championships in Brest.
