Groundhog Day Santa Claus is an American television movie from the year 1996. The film is inspired by the theme and the title of the movie Groundhog Day groundhog of the year 1993.
Action
The movie is about a boy who gets to Christmas in a time loop. Christmas will be a disaster for him, but the boy's " Sarah " ( Yvonne Zima ) sister wishes that every day is Christmas. This wish is also fulfilled, which, however, seems to notice only the brother. Now he is trying to make in some experiments Christmas as it is best for all. When he has done this, the time loop is over.

The theme of the repetitive Christmas is also found in the narrative, not only at Christmas time by Heinrich Böll. In this case, there is no time loop. The festival of Christmas is repeated daily for aunt Milla, who does not want to part with their Christmas tree itself.
