Christof Ebert

Christof Ebert ( born 1964 in Stuttgart ) is a German computer scientist and entrepreneur who the system and software engineering works in the field.

Ebert studied electrical engineering and computer science from 1984 to 1990 at the University of Stuttgart and at Kansas State University. In 1994 he received his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart complexity control in product development. Since 1994 worked at Alcatel, first in Stuttgart, from 1996 in Antwerp and from 2001 in Paris. As a director in the field of product development, he had the responsibility for group-wide software platforms, development processes and tools. For his results in productivity improvement, systems engineering and product lifecycle management, he was appointed a member of the Alcatel Technical Academy. In 2007 he founded Vector Consulting Services GmbH, where he is a partner and managing director.

Ebert is a lecturer at the University of Stuttgart, the Board of the Department is " software engineering " of society for computer science and has written several reference books and over 150 scientific publications. He is in the editorial board of IEEE Software and the Journal of Systems and Software, and works in the program committees of international conferences. As an IEEE Distinguished Visitor, it represents the focus of requirements engineering, product management and software engineering.
