Christof Leng

Christof Leng ( born September 14, 1975 in Friedberg, Hesse ) is a German computer scientist and was the first federal leader of the Pirate Party Germany.

Life

Leng studied and worked at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he received his doctorate in 2012 on peer-to -peer networks. He is currently working as a visiting scientist at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, California.

Policy

Leng was involved in organizing the founding of the Pirate Party of Germany and led the founding meeting on 10 September 2006., Where he was elected the first National Executive Chairman of the Pirate Party Germany. The following year he was succeeded by Jens Seipenbusch.

He is on the boards of the Society for computer science (GI ) and is represented in the Bureau since 2008, currently. Speaker of the Advisory Board of the scientific staff Since 2012 he is also Vice President of the GI.
