Christoph Sauter

Christoph Sauter (born 3 August 1991, Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German football player.

Career

Christoph Sauter began playing football at the neighborhood club VfR Fries Home in his home town of Ludwigshafen. At twelve, he moved to the youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim before the first FSV Mainz 05 brought in his successful youth him in 2007. Two years later he was with the U- 19 of the Association of German junior champion. In his final junior year, he was also used four times in the regional team of Mainz. He was also appointed to the U-19 selection of the German Football Association.

Nevertheless, the offensive player then moved to the 1st FC Nuremberg because he was not convinced of his future in Mainz. Among the Franks, he belonged to the extended Bundesliga squad and was one of four young players who participated in the winter training camp of the professionals, but the only one of the four he did not come to a Bundesliga use. Instead, he was a regular player in the regional and there with eight gates leading scorer of the team in the season 2010/11.

In order to be closer to professional football, he was loaned in the following season to the third division VfR Aalen. In the first games of the season he came on as a substitute mainly for use before he missed due to injury some games. After his return, he was back with Stanislaus Bergheim and from the second half with Cidimar in the competition for the seat next to the set by storm Robert Lechleiter. After the end of the season in which the VfR climb to the 2nd Bundesliga, so he came on 27 missions, in which he scored three goals and three more besides. A rental contract VfR with the 1st FC Nuremberg was not renewed.

The 1st FC Nuremberg left Sauter then, however, also; he moved to relegated to the 3rd league Karlsruher SC. The Badeners he signed a two-year contract. End of January 2013 he was loaned until the end of season 2012/13 to the third division Wormatia Worms. In June 2013 his contract at Karlsruher SC was dissolved.
