Christopher C. Kraft, Jr.

Christopher Columbus force, Jr., and Chris Kraft, ( born February 28, 1924 in Phoebus, Virginia) is an American aerospace engineer.

Life

He was instrumental since 1959 in the preparation and management of important space programs of the U.S. ( Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, Apollo -Soyuz Test Project, Space Shuttle ). From 1972 until his retirement in 1982 he was the director of the NASA Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in Houston.
