Christopher Hornsrud

Christopher Andersen Hornsrud (* November 15, 1859 in Øvre Eiker, † December 12, 1960 in Oslo) was a Norwegian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party ( Arbeiderpartiet ), from 1903 to 1906 its chairman.

He was a member of the Norwegian Parliament from 1913 to 1936 and Norwegian Prime Minister and Minister of Finance from January 28 1928 to February 15, 1928. He was the first Social Democratic Prime Minister of Norway (see Cabinet Hornsrud ).
