Chulyms

The Turkic Tschulymer are a Turco- Tatar population in southern Siberia.

The south-eastern groups of Siberian Chulym or Meletzker Tatars were attributed to and understood as such may be the Khakassians in the 20th century. They were composed of the sub-groups Küerik, Kecik / Kezik and the actual Chulym. In 1986, this group of 639 people.

Today they count as a separate ethnic group on indigenous peoples of the Russian North, Siberia and the Russian Far East.
