Church House Trust is a British private bank, which was founded in 1978 in Yeovil. In January 2010 it was acquired by Virgin Money and since then has been under Virgin Bank Ltd.
History
1978 Church House Trust was established. The name derives from the Queen Anne House, opposite St John 's Parish Church in the center of Yeovil, from. The Queen Anne House had acquired Nathaniel Batten in 1720s. From the building of Church House Trust in 1999 moved into a newly constructed building.
Acquisition by Virgin Money
On January 8, 2010 Virgin Money announced the Church House Trust plc. is taken over for £ 12.3 million. By buying Virgin Money gets access to the banking market. Church House Trust is under Virgin Bank Ltd. continued. At the same time the capital base was strengthened to 37.7 million pounds.
