Ciemnik

Ciemnick ( German Temnick ) is a village in Insko ( Nörenberg ) in Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Stargardzki powiat ( county Stargard ).

Geographical location

Ciemnik located in Pomerania, about five kilometers south of Insko, 37 kilometers east of Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) and 66 kilometers east of the regional capital Szczecin.

History

Before 1945, the village belonged to the province of Pomerania, and was Temnick. Originally it had been a manor whose owner was compared with the Pomeranian Dukes allegiance to. After the extinction of the Pomeranian Dukes bought it in the 17th century Adam Sigismund of Delitz, and it was then a headquarters of Delitz family. 1789 Best of Berend Ludwig was sold by Delitz and taken over by another owner.

The village has about 160 inhabitants.
