Çiftlik, Niğde

Çiftlik is a town and a district in the Turkish province of Nigde. The city is located about 30 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital of Nigde.

The county is in the northwest of the province. It is bordered to the north and west by the province of Aksaray, on the south by Altunhisar and east to the central district of Nigde. The city lies on the River Çiftlik Melendiz Suyu, south of the 2963 meter high Melendiz Dagi and north of the volcano Göllü Dağ lies at a height of 2143 meters.

Attractions

To the east of the county town of the settlement mound Tepecik - Çiftlik lies mainly with finds from the early Chalcolithic.
