Cihan Kaptan

Cihan Kaan Kaptan ( born March 4, 1989 in Wuppertal ) is a German football player of Turkish origin.

Career

Cihan started at the Bambinis the Wuppertal SV. In 1996, he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen and played twelve years in youth, usually in defense or in midfield.

With the Leverkusen 's youth he was German champion in 2007 ( 2-1 aet in the final against Bayern Munich) and 2008 German Cup winner ( 3-1 in the final against Borussia Mönchengladbach ). Further successes in his youth were the two victories in the playoffs the West German Championship. Various youth national teams, he collected in the years 2007 and 2008 under coach Horst Hrubesch experience. He made his international debut against Turkey in Kusadasi; later he participated, among others, the Junior World Cup in 2009 in Egypt.

From 2008 he played until the end of 2009 as a professional footballer with Bursaspor in the Turkish Turkcell Super Lig During the winter break of the season 2009/10 he moved to the third division football team of Borussia Dortmund, where he 7 February 2010 in a 2-1 success of the BVB II debuted in Offenbach.
