Cintra

Cintra, S. A. ( Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte ) is a Spanish infrastructure company based in Madrid and is part of the Ferrovial Group. Cintra to build and operate toll roads, particularly highways, and parking garages. These include, for example, the Highway 407 ( Ontario), the Chicago Skyway, the Indiana Toll Road and various roads in Spain. Is currently being built in partnership with the company Zachry Corporation Company of San Antonio, Texas, the Trans - Texas Corridor.

Cintra was founded in 1998 as a subsidiary of Ferrovial to consolidate all of the group in the area motorways and car parks. The IPO of Cintra took place in 2004, but Ferrovial remained the majority shareholder. In 2009, Cintra was however again merged with Ferrovial; Cintra has since been back a 100 % subsidiary of Ferrovial and is no longer listed on the exchange.
