Čistá (Svitavy District)

Čistá, 1945 Litrbachy ( German Lauterbach ) is a municipality in Okres Svitavy, Pardubice region in the Czech Republic.

Geography

The village is located south of Litomyšl in a deep valley on both banks of the river Loučná. Dier altitude ranges 380-560 m. The area of ​​2,520 hectares is the tenth largest town in the district. Nearly 1,000 acres of the cadastre consists of spruce forest.

History

The first mention in 1347 as "villa Lauterbach ". After the dissolution of Litomyšl Bistuma in 1421, the village was part of the rule Litomysl until 1848.

Since 1850, the village was part of the political district Litomyšl, and from 1960 the Okres Svitavy. The majority of the population was German by the year 1945. According to their expulsion and the arrival of Czech settlers in 1947 the town name was changed to Čistá. In 1919 in the village of 28 coins, 1938 more 1238 coins from the second half of the 16th century ( the youngest was a quarter cruiser Ferdinand II from 1628 ) and found in 1958 in the construction of buildings 826 coins again, probably shortly were hidden after the year 1545.
