Ciudad Encantada

The Ciudad Encantada ( Spanish for " Enchanted City ") is a limestone landscape in a large pine forest in the highlands near the Spanish city of Cuenca and the Júcar.

The rock formations form a labyrinth of rock bridges, more or less wide roads and open spaces. The inhabitants of the area have given the rocks according to their forms of animals and property name. Geologically dated the landscape from the Mesozoic era.

1929 Ciudad Encantada has been included in the Spanish National list of important places.

The orientation in the field is relatively simple, since all spaces and paths are marked.
