Ciutadella-Vila OlÃmpica (Barcelona Metro)
Ciutadella | Vila Olympic Village is an underground station of the Barcelona Metro. It is located in the Sant Martí district. The station is served by the metro line 4. There is transit traffic to five bus lines and tram line 4 of the Trambesòs to the aboveground station. It is named after the Parc de la Ciutadella and the former Olympic Village ( Vila Olympic Village ).
The station was taken in 1977 during the opening of the eastern extension of Line 4 in operation. This was then extended from the station Barceloneta up to Selva de Mar. From 1991 to 1992 she was closed due to renovations of the Olympic Games. By 1982 the station had the name Ribera. Then they got the name Ciutadella. Since 1992 she bears its present name.
