Clara Nunes
Clara Nunes ( born August 12, 1943 in Paraopeba, † April 2, 1983 in Rio de Janeiro) was a Brazilian artist.
Nunes contributed much to the popularity of Brazilian music and samba in addition to Antônio Carlos Jobim, Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, it was considered one of the most important singers of the Samba.
Clara Nunes died from the effects of varicose vein surgery.
