Clarence Gilyard

Clarence Darnell Gilyard Jr. ( born December 24, 1955 in Moses Lake, Washington) is an American actor who is sometimes listed under the fictitious name Clarence A. Gilyard.

One his first roles was in the television series Riptide from 1984, as a singing burger William Collins. He was in his role as Conrad McMasters in the TV series Matlock from 1989 to 1993 and as a Texas Ranger James Trivette in Walker, Texas Ranger known. In 2005 he was in the TV movie Walker, Texas Ranger: see baptism of fire, which continues the series of the same. From 1982 to 1983 Gilyard also starred in the NBC series CHiPs as Officer Benjamin Webster.
