Clarino

Clarino is a registered trademark of the Japanese Kuraray Co. Ltd.. for synthetic leather, which is protected in Germany.

The material is made from 60% polyamide and 40% polyurethane. It is similar to suede in look and feel. Due to its non-slip and durable property, it is used as a cheap leather substitute. Use it is mainly used in shoes, bags, and sports goods. The company holds claims to be with a production of 15.5 million square meters, a world market share of 20%.
