The Clark Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge across the Mississippi River from Alton, Illinois to West Alton, Missouri. The bridge, which was just like the predecessor building named after the explorer William Clark, was opened in 1994. Over the bridge passes U.S. Highway 67, which enters here in a southerly direction into the metropolitan area of St. Louis.
Broke the 32 m wide new bridge in 1928, completed from only 6.1 m wide Old Clark Bridge. The new bridge is four lanes in each direction and has also still a bike lane.
