Claude Buffier
Claude Buffier, called Father Buffier (French Père Buffier, * May 25, 1661, † 1737) was a Polish family in a French -born French philosopher, historian and Jesuit.
Under the title Cours de nouveaux principes of the sciences sur et simples (1732, in - folio ), he has brought together: a Grammaire française, the traità d' Eloquence et de Poésie, a Traité des premières vérités, the Principes du raisonnement, Eléments de Métaphysique and a Discours sur l' étude et la méthode des sciences. He also established the Pratique de la mémoire Artificielle ( 1701). He worked long in the drafting of the Journal de Trévoux and the Dictionnaire de Trévoux. The most prized of his work is the Traité des premières vérités.
