Claude E. Shannon Award

The Claude E. Shannon Award, named after the founder of information theory, Claude E. Shannon, is a 1972 by the IEEE Information Theory Society award, usually annual award. It is assigned for theory far -reaching work in the field of information theory.

The winner will receive the opportunity his work in the context of the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory put forward.
