Claude Lenners

Claude Lenners ( born May 11, 1956 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgian composer.

Lenners was a pupil of Alexander waste stream and François -Bernard Mâche and studied at the conservatories in Luxembourg and Strasbourg, as well as musicology at the University of Strasbourg.

Since 1992 he has taught music analysis, composition and computer music at the Conservatory of Luxembourg. In 1999 he founded the Society of electronic music pyramid. In 2000 he was artistic director of the Festival of New Music Rainy Days.

Lenners was 1989-1991 Fellow of the Académie de France at the Villa Medici in Rome. In 1991 he won first prize at the International Prix Henri Dutilleux, 1992, he was awarded the scholarship price of the Darmstadt Summer Courses for New Music.
