Claudine Auger

Claudine Auger ( born April 26, 1941 as Claudine Oger in Paris) is a French actress and former Miss World France.

Life

She was born in Paris, where she grew up and the St. Joan of Arc College and later Paris Drama Conservatory visited. At the age of 17, she won the title of Miss World 1958 France and was runner-up at the Miss World contest. Jean Cocteau they casted in 1960 for her first supporting role. In The Testament of Orpheus, she played a ballerina. Five years later she played her most famous role: the Bond girls of Dominique "Domino" Derval in the James Bond film Thunderball. The role of Domino was originally created as an Italian Dominetta palaces and should be played by Luciana Paluzzi, which then, however, the role of the "evil Bond Girls" took over.

Fireball Auger brought a successful film career in Europe, but did not lead to success in the USA.

At the age of 18 she married the 41 -year-old Pierre Gaspard - Huit, from which they later divorced. In his second marriage, she was married to Peter Brent. Brent died in August 2008.
