Claudius Weber

Claudius Weber ( born April 15, 1978 in Opole, Poland ) is a German football player. The striker currently plays for FSV Braunfels in Hesse league.

Career

Weber's professional career started relatively late. After being shuttled in the 1990s between three amateur clubs from central Hesse, including the then Oberliga VfB Gießen, joined Weber 2001 after the withdrawal of league team VfB to reserve Mainz 05 with which he rose in 2003 from the premier league to the Regionalliga. At 25, the striker made ​​his debut on 30 October 2003 in the 2nd Bundesliga, in which he in ten games ( including nine substitutions ) scored two goals. In 2004 he rose to the FSV to the Bundesliga and completed in the 2004/05 season eight Bundesliga games for the first FSV Mainz 05, in which he replaced seven times. 2005 Weber moved to third division SV labor. After a brief return to Mainz, he moved in 2006 to VfB Lübeck.
