Clay Mathematics Institute
The Clay Mathematics Institute ( CMI) for the promotion of mathematics has its headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
It was founded in September 1999 by the founder pair Clay, the Boston businessman Landon T. Clay and his wife, Lavinia D. Clay.
At the foundation are the prizes for the solution of the Millennium problems.
Clay Research Award
The Foundation annually awards the Clay Research Award for outstanding research achievements in the field of mathematics.
