Clayton Kershaw ( born March 19, 1988 in Dallas, Texas) is an American baseball player and pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers in Major League Baseball. He played for the first time in the MLB at the age of 20 years and in 2008 was the youngest pitcher for the MLB.
High School and College
Clayton Kershaw attended Highland Park High School, where he played baseball. Here he achieved a score of 13-0, knocking almost a perfect game. In USA Today, he was named High School Player of the Year. In the 2006 MLB Draft Kershaw was selected to seventh place overall by the LA Dodgers and received a bonus payment of 2.3 million dollars.
Career as a professional
