The Clear Creek ( English for " Clear Brook ") is a 40 km long left tributary of the Hocking River in the southeastern U.S. state of Ohio.

The outflow is via the Hocking River, Ohio River and Mississippi River into the Gulf of Mexico. The Clear Creek is part of the river system of the Mississippi River and drains an area of 231 km ². The river, 2 km east of the town of Royalton in western Fairfield County, then flows in a southwesterly direction to the Hocking County and passes through the Clear Creek Metro Park before it opens at Rockbridge in Hocking River. The Clear Creek Metro Park is the largest of 14 natural parks in Ohio and extends from the northern Hocking County into southern Fairfield County with a total of 19.1 km ², in which more than 800 different plants and 150 bird species have been recorded. Typical of the valley of Clear Creek are sandstone cliffs, rock formations and mixed forests of oak, hickory, hemlock and rhododendron bushes.
