Clearwater is a city in Antelope County in the U.S. state of Nebraska.

Demography

According to census of 2000, Clearwater has 384 inhabitants, of whom 109 men and 205 women.

Location

Clearwater is located in northeast Nebraska on U.S. Highway 275

History

1881 was built at the site of the present town by the Fremont, Elkhorn and Missouri Valley Railroad, the first depot. The newspaper of the place, the Clearwater Record was founded in 1901. Since 1902 there are in place telephone connection and a sewage system was established in 1953.
