Cleveland is a city in Bolivar County, Mississippi, United States. According to the population census of 2000, there were 13,842 inhabitants. She is best known for the Delta State University. History

Until the mid-19th century was located on the territory of today's essentially just marshland and reed landscapes. Even into the 20th century, the current urban area was malaria- infested.
