History

Clifford Chance LLP was established in England in 1987 by the merger of law firms Coward Chance and Clifford Turner.

Clifford Chance in Germany has been represented since 1990. In 2000 was created through the merger with the German firm Pünder Volhard Weber & Axster and the U.S. firm Rogers & Wells, the international law firm Clifford Chance ( in Germany until the end of 2003 Clifford Chance Pünder ). Since 2004 she is called only Clifford Chance.
