Close helm

The closed helmet (English close helmet ) is developed from the Armet helmet visor at the beginning of the 16th century, which encloses the wearer's head entirely. In contrast to the visor and bevor Armet are rotatably attached to the temple to bolt and have no back pieces. It ends in a hollow bead, which could be set up to rotate on the harness collar. A variant is the so-called mantle helmet which has neck and neck tires.
