Club Egara

The club Egara is a sports club from the Catalan city of Terrassa approximately 30 km north of Barcelona. The 2,300 -member association whose generous club grounds located since 1961 in Pla del Bon Aire in northern Terrassas, maintains departments in the sports of hockey, tennis, paddle tennis, horse riding, bridge, gymnastics, golf and swimming. Egara Club was founded in 1935 as Club Deportivo Armonia Egara and arose from the Hockey Department of Armonia Football Club. The name Egara refers to the Roman city of municipium Flavian Egara from the Terrassa emerged.
