Club Melilla Baloncesto

Club Melilla Baloncesto is a Spanish basketball club from Melilla. He plays continuously since its inception in the Second Spanish basketball league.

History

The club was founded in 1991 and launched in the second highest Spanish basketball league. The first years of the club always struggled against relegation, but that changed by the end of the 1990s. During this time the play-offs were achieved for the promotion to the ACB league regularly. The most you came here in the 1998/99 season, as Melilla reached which is crucial for the rise semifinal series, but they lost to CB Breogán. Shortly before they won the trophy for the second division, the Copa Principe de Asturias, which the team won again in 2001. Between 2003 and 2008, the club failed to reach the play-offs.

In the 2008 /09 season, the team arrived in 1999, the second time the last four in the play-offs. The now changed mode saw a Final Four before the ascension, ascent whose winner.
