Cocidius was Equated by the interpretatio romana once in Housesteads ( Vercovicium ) the Roman Silvanus, and five times Mars. In some writings Cocidius consecration was identified with Toutatis, Riocaletis and Vernostus. Two squares of embossed silver show him as a warrior with shield and spear. After MacKillop Cocidius should correspond to the British Segomo God, however, this is very controversial.
