Coconut Records (musician)

Coconut Records is an indie pop solo project by former drummer of the band Phantom Planet Jason Schwartzman. He started a solo project in 2006 with the debut album a year later following Nighttiming, which was released on Schwartzman's own label Young Baby Records in 2007. On his first album, also worked with other bands and also to listen to this, such as Incubus, or even the actresses Zooey Deschanel and Kirsten Dunst. His title West Coast has been used in various series, such as OC California and gained thereby notoriety. 2013, the track was used for a TV in the ORF - self-promotion campaign.

The second album was released in 2009. Moreover, Schwartz created man with the title of his solo project, the theme song to the HBO series Bored to Death.
