Codex Cumanicus

The Codex Cumanicus is a two-part manuscript from the year 1330.

The first part (folio 1r - 55v ) is a trilingual dictionary Latin - Persian - Kumanisch in Latin transcription. The second part (folio 56r - 82v ) contains word lists, various prayers, riddles and other short texts.

The manuscript is now in Venice in the Biblioteca Marciana, signature Marciano Lat. Z. 594 = 1597th
