Geography
Cohasset is located in northern Minnesota on the Upper Mississippi. The city is located at 47 ° 15'07 " north latitude and 93 ° 37'25 " west longitude. It covers 91.40 km ², spread over 69.44 km ² of land and 21.96 km ² water surface.
Towns nearby are of Cohasset Deer River ( 15.3 km north west ), Coleraine (18,4 km to the east ) and Grand Rapids (on the southeastern outskirts ).

In northwest-southeast direction of U.S. Highway 2 leads as the main road through Cohasset. The western city limit is formed by the Minnesota State Route 6. All other roads are subordinate and partly unpaved roadways and within local roads.
