Colchicum pusillum is a species of the genus autumn crocus ( Colchicum ) in the family of crocus plants ( Colchicaceae ).

Features

Colchicum pusillum is a perennial herbaceous plant that reaches the heights of growth 6-12 centimeters. This Geophyt forms sprout tubers than outlasting. The 3-8 leaves appear at flowering time. Occurrence

Colchicum pusillum occurs in the northeastern Mediterranean. The species grows in dry phrygana on Lehmflächen and on cultivated land at altitudes 0-1400 meters.
