Cold Spring Tavern

The Cold Spring Tavern is a historic building near Santa Barbara in California. The building was constructed in 1865 as a coaching inn, and was initially known as the Cold Springs Relay Station. At the Cold Springs Relay station the horses were changed and passengers of the stagecoach could take meals.

The Cold Spring Tavern is situated on the Stagecoach Road, near what is now Highway 154, which connects the city of Santa Barbara over the San Marcos Pass to the more rural areas in the Santa Ynez Mountains.

The stagecoach station was abandoned in 1901, but the adjoining restaurant is still open.
